A MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION

Our hearts are filled with joy and gratitude as we extend to you this message of gratitude and appreciation for your enormous contribution towards the success of our Consecration and Enthronement. We were humbled yet filled with thanksgiving to God for the glorious and colourful divine ceremony which was attended by thousands from near and far praising and glorifying God.

You worked tirelessly and selflessly, offering generously your valuable time, energy, resources and wisdom to ensure such great success. We note with gratitude the divine role of His Grace the Archbishop of the Church of the Province of Uganda, Bishops, Clergy and Chancellors. We do note with gratitude the generous Contribution of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Uganda through his able Representative. We rejoice and give thanks to God for Bishops, Clergy and entire delegations from UK, USA, Ghana and Rwanda who traveled all the way to attend and witness our Consecration. The involvement and generosity in the life and Ministry of the Church by all of you has been and continues to be instrumental in fostering the Gospel of Christ.

We do not have appropriate words to express our gratitude to you except to pray for a generous blessing upon you, and your families, offices, businesses and all undertakings that you engage yourself in to the glory of God. We will ever remain grateful to you and above all to God who enables and equips you and us all to do His Will.

We highly appreciate with gratitude our predecessor, Rt. Rev. Nathan and Maama Peace for leading the Diocese so well as well as championing a peaceful and harmonious transition of leadership.   Having received this mantle of leadership, we now look forward to taking on our Calling and Mission in the power of the one who calls both you and us to carry on His ministry to the world. “He who calls us is faithful and He will do it”. (1Thess 5:24)

We remain committed to serve in the Lord’s vineyard,

Rt. Rev. Samuel and Maama Sarah Kahuma
